It's a new year. I'm still here. I have a baker's dozen of books that remain unedited and unpublished. That's because I've been obsessed with cryptocurrencies and their potential to transform every aspect of human life.
I've been writing about it here on Medium.
It's a complicated subject. I spend an enormous amount of time just trying to keep up. Last year, a friend of mine asked me to explain cryptocurrency to her, and I have yet to come up with an adequate reply. I'll post something soon on my website because I think later in the year, I'm going to get a lot of those calls.
For those of you that aren't aware, there are BIG changes coming to the financial industry. The banking system is in trouble and will not survive in its current form. Lucky for all of us, there are alternatives being built. The best alternative by far is cryptocurrency, but it's a challenging and volatile arena.
The reason that I find all of this so fascinating is because I see how these changes in finance are going to make the world more stable, secure, and humane. We have to make it through the transition, however.
I have great hopes for being a kind of translator that helps people that have no interest in the complexities of finance understand what's happening as things begin to fall apart. For that reason, all of the fiction that's sitting on my hard drive may take a while to make it out into the published world. But check back here when you have questions about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
I'm working on the answers.
May you have a prosperous and stable 2020 and if not, hang in there. It will get better in a couple of years,
